Canadian British Columbia (BC)
Black Bear Hunting
We hunt Black Bear, Roosevelt Elk, Black-Tailed Deer, Cougar & Mountain Goat
Coastal British Columbia (BC) of Canada has arguably the highest population of Black Bears per square mile in North America.
The mild climate provides the BC Black Bears with a very long feeding season starting in the early spring and ending in the late fall on the salmon spawning rivers. With abundant food and virtually no hunting pressure it's easy to see why BC Coastal Black Bears grow to such a large size.
Black Bear Hunting in the spring is done by boat cruising along the beaches and estuaries or by four by four vehicle or four wheelers in the glassing logged off areas in the mountains where Black Bears are feeding on the lush new vegetation.
All hunts are exciting spot and stalk. The average Black Bear squares over six feet although every year seven footers are taken with a high percentage of their skulls making the record book
Before you go bear hunting, make sure you are prepared by following these black bear hunting tips on DVD and book.
